Bewteen "trouve " et "pense " the different is more like How you discover the "thing."
Ex: You meet an old good friend who recently learnt to speak French. He asks you how good you think he is at French:
- You reply => "Je pense que tu parles bien Francais."
Now he tells you he' s about to give it a try and you have to listen.
- he says => "je crois que je parle très bien Francais, les cours que j'ai eu étaient très efficace"
(So last one minute you didn't know how good he was, and now you know. It' s brand new, so you found it like "a treasure")
You say to him => "Je trouve que tu parles bien
Francais."
If you don't have any idea and it 's pure personnal feeling you want to use "Penser" or "Croire"
If you just have an opinion about what 's going on you will use "Trouver "
